2+ years as an Automotive Service Advisor or strong customer-facing experience in the automotive industry

What You’ll Do

As an Automotive Technician at Centerway Auto Repair, your work may include:


Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
Performing routine maintenance and inspections
Servicing brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, starting, charging, and related systems
Using diagnostic tools and shop equipment accurately
Completing repairs according to shop standards and manufacturer guidelines
Documenting work performed, recommended repairs, and parts needed
Communicating repair findings with service advisors or shop management
Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe
Test-driving vehicles when needed to confirm concerns and verify repairs
Following shop safety procedures and proper equipment use


What We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates may have:


Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or service technician
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
Experience with a variety of makes and models
Comfort using scan tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, tire machines, and standard shop tools
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong attention to detail
Commitment to doing the job right
Ability to stay organized in a busy shop environment
Professional attitude toward customers, coworkers, and the work itself

ASE certifications are preferred, but not required.
